Support: Hello, may I ask who am I chatting with, before we proceed? How does one proceed? How did Microsoft allow this happen? Thank you. For this discussion, let's say there are no other network options, period (no hot spot, no wired connection, no temporarily turning off the wireless MAC filter, etc.). It doesn't appear that the network setup can be skipped and, after trying 10 times, it doesn't look like it fails (is it supposed to?), allowing the user to proceed.
The MAC address is not present on the console, the documentation or the packaging. The network that the console will connect to is wireless with a mac filter, so in order to connect to the network, the console's wireless MAC address is required.
